“ Absolutely delicious! The Birria tacos were juicy, flavourful, and perfectly crispy—especially when dipped in the rich Birria dip! The Sri Lankan curry was bold, sweet, and full of depth and a lot of prawns. Both dishes were amazing in their own way. Highly recommend! The staff are amazing extremely polite. They had different menus for different dietary needs. We will 100% come again. ”

Ordered 2 large breakfasts and 2 small and drinks coffee and a milkshake . All amazing . Breakfast we all agreed was filling . But no need for herbs on the tomato or eggs was slight over kill. Service was quick and polite very relaxed atmosphere and amazing decor . Well done we will be back. Well deserved 5 star ”
“ Wow! Not enough stars to rate this restaurant. To say they blew us away with customer service is an understatement. 3 of us booked in for breakfast & we mentioned it was a pre wedding breakfast for the Groom, Grooms father & Best man. We arrived to find the table set up specially for us with a boxed flower arrangement & card written to the groom from all the staff. It was a tear jerker. Irrespective of the fact only 3 of us had booked to attend, the management had taken the decision to go the extra mile knowing we couldn’t possibly eat or drink enough to pay for the flowers or maybe they’d just break even. We talked about how amazingly kind they’d been all day. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I nearly forgot to tell you just how great the food was too! The best breakfast I’ve had for a few years also. They have freshly squeezed orange juice which was a treat you don’t often find. Super sausages & black pudding! The groom is vegan & Rondo caters as part of their standard offer a full vegan menu choice. Quite genuinely, it’s brilliant with awesome staff! Thank you all. ”
“ Visited Retford today, 16 May 2025 and called at Rondo Lounge in the market place for lunch. We both had bang bang chicken mains, which was delicious. What a lovely, welcoming eatery. We ate inside with our dog. Service was great even though they were busy outside, staff were all very friendly. We will definitely be back when we next visit Retford. ”

Pets are welcome here and they have a small play area for kids. Highly recommend. I wish they had lounges restaurants in Scotland. Visited a few in England and Wales when visiting. ”
“ Great tasty and healthy food enjoyed in a quirky decor restaurant. Cauliflower tapas was a little small for the price but the mains were really good and the ability to add notes/extras QR code orders is handy. Homemade soft drinks (pink lemonade and watermelon ice tea) tasted great too. ”
